Chester Le Community Mural Unveiling on Saturday, September 30th

I proudly invite residents to join members of the Chester Le community and the Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) to celebrate the unveiling of the Chester Le Community Mural.

The mural will be displayed on the wall along Victoria Park Avenue outside the Chester Le townhouses. It is an artistic collaboration by the community of Chester Le to showcase the beauty and resilience of the residents after a year of tragic incidents including fatalities. This community project will bring local youth, residents and volunteers together to undertake an initiative to celebrate their neighbourhood.

Please save the date of Saturday, September 30th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a day of celebration including a BBQ, activities and a community walk!

In mid-August, I was honoured to join Ms. Lee Soda, Executive Director of the Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA), and youth members of the Chester Le community to provide an update on the Chester Le Community Mural.

The mural will be displayed on the wall along Victoria Park Avenue outside the Chester Le townhouses. The Chester Le Community Mural has been provided funding through the StreetARToronto (StART) partnership program which is initiated through the City of Toronto Community Partnership Investment Program. The Chester Le Community Mural is one of many projects that respond to the needs and local conditions of diverse communities in the City.

Please SAVE THE DATE of Saturday, September 30th, 2017. We will be celebrating the completion of this mural with members of the Chester Le community. Stay tuned for more information.
