Events and things to do on Canada Day

Along with local celebrations organized by residents throughout our Ward 39 neighbourhoods, there are City of Toronto-organized and community events held across our city for people of all ages to celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday today. There are also many recreations and cultural centres open today. The annual Canada Day fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay will begin at 10 p.m. Residents who are planning to attend are encouraged to leave vehicles at home and use public transit.
