I hope this message finds you and your family well.

As your City Councillor, I have been continuously engaged with our community’s schools, parents and residents regarding school zone traffic calming measures. I am pleased to announce that, working with one of our school administrations and parents of the Brookmill community, a new set of traffic calming measures were successfully installed in the neighbourhood over the past week. I would like to thank our community members for their input regarding improving traffic safety for our students and residents.

TORONTO – Jim Karygiannis, Councillor for Ward 22, Scarborough-Agincourt, together with local politicians; community leaders and residents; and, doctors and nurses from the Scarborough Grace Hospital, marched in protest against the closing of the Obstetric and In-Patient Pediatric Departments at the Scarborough Hospital-Grace Division (Birchmount Campus).

“I am happy that more than 200 people came out to protest the cuts to the Grace.” said Mr. Karygiannis. “The Grace has always been a full service community hospital since it opene
