  • Ensuring the Scarborough Health Network’s Birchmount Hospital (The Grace) and its Emergency Department will remain open until such time as a new hospital infrastructure is identified and built by the Province of Ontario; and,

  • Working together to build the Bridletowne Neighbourhood Hub (BNC) in Scarborough-Agincourt, with a goal of completing the project by 2023. Once built, this new community health hub will dramatically improve the health of our community; help combat chronic illness; provide much needed child care spaces; and, promote healthy living.

Scarborough Health Network has also committed to releasing a one year evaluation of the closure, at the Birchmount Hospital (The Grace), of the Obstetric and In-Patient Pediatric Departments. This report will be presented to the community at a public meeting, followed by public consultations and engagements.
