PTSD is a psychiatric disorder that can occur following the experience or witnessing of life-altering events such as military combat, natural disasters, terrorist incidents, serious accidents, torture, or physical or sexual assault as an adult or a child. PTSD is affecting a growing number of individuals in the Armed Forces, Emergency Response Teams or who have been exposed to very traumatic situations. PTSD often also impacts relationships with family, friends, and neighbours. You may even know someone who is suffering in silence.

Parking will be free (80-100 spots), in the upper parking pad to the east of the Scarborough Civic Centre (entrance from the Scarborough Town Centre Court). Upon arrival at the parking lot gate, buzz security and advise that you are attending the PTSD Community Meeting.
